Hithesh Rai Purushothama is a motivated and ambitious student with a passion for semiconductors, robotics and materials science. He is a dedicated undergraduate student researcher in the Rolston Lab, where he works on the scalability of perovskite solar cell devices.

Hithesh is also a team leader for an Engineering Projects in Community Service team called 2Unify Education, where he leads a team of undergraduate students building a robotics-based curriculum. He is also involved in multiple student organizations, including Undergraduate Student Government, the Coalition of International Students, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers chapter at Arizona State University.

Hithesh believes his enthusiasm for learning and dedication to his field makes him an excellent role model for other students. His desire to give back to his school is evident in his aspiration to become a School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering ambassador. He is committed to making a positive impact on the school where he is receiving his education and contributing to its growth and success.
