Jayashree Adivarahan is a senior at ASU double majoring in electrical engineering and computer systems engineering.

Beyond the classroom, Jayashree has served on the executive boards of the Society of Women Engineers, or SWE, and Engineers Without Borders, or EWB, student organizations. She also is a part of the Grand Challenges Scholars Program.

As an undergraduate, Jayashree has had the opportunity to be involved in several research initiatives, including two FURI projects. As an undergraduate research assistant, she contributed to ULTRA, a project exploring the transition from traditional silicon to wide and ultra-wide bandgap materials in semiconductor chips. Jayashree has interned with Northrop Grumman and Intel, and completed a research program at Stanford.

Jayashree truly enjoys giving back to the ASU community as a student ambassador!

Jayashree’s advice for students:

“Take everything one step at a time! This is something I still try and live by, and I believe this helps one make the best of every moment and opportunity.”
