Fuad Hossain started his studies at Arizona State University in the fall 2022 semester. He’s a dynamic individual hailing from the bustling city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, bringing a global perspective and an unwavering passion for innovation to the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at ASU and the university’s Barrett, the Honors College.
Fuad found his interest in electrical engineering in middle school when he first discovered microprocessors in his desktop computer. He wanted to delve deeper into the field, which led him to pursue an electrical engineering degree at ASU.
Fuad thrives in the university’s diverse and vibrant academic environment, where he engages wholeheartedly in various pursuits. His experiences as a research assistant and tutor have been particularly enriching, offering unique opportunities to delve into the realms of discovery and mentorship.
In his role as a research assistant, Fuad collaborates with a diverse team to explore advanced materials for semiconductor devices. This hands-on experience sharpens his technical skills and ignites his curiosity, making every day a new adventure in the pursuit of knowledge.
Similarly, Fuad finds immense joy and fulfillment in his role as a tutor, where he shares his passion for learning with his peers. Guiding fellow students through challenging subjects not only strengthens his own understanding but also fosters a sense of community and camaraderie that makes his journey at ASU more enjoyable.
